Thanks to all for the Kind words. Jaimoes Jasssz Band is on my short list of things to do. It sure would be nice if Pam and I could make that Kure Beach NC show is October. It will all depend upon how my health is going then.
Go to Macon Rainy!!!! I need a trip to Macon as it is very Spiritual for me. I am so very moved by the town and all it is has to offer me as a Lover of the Music is has given us. And then there is so much more.... RedDog's book pretty much puts it in perspective for me. Rose Hill is so very special. I was once locked in there after dark.

After all these years, I am just happy that we have both bands to choose from. I go see both, but I certainly like the sound of one band a bit more than the other.
You might be able to guess which one! And, add another band to the list, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band! With the help of Dave Stoltz and Kris Jensen, they put put some wonderful music. Thanks to DB for introducing those two to me.

Ghandi, been reading your posts, actually pretty cool in that i know you are a staunch Dickey guy (me too)...but the ABB can bring it too,and you had no problem stepping up and saying so. Derek is playing with the Tedeschi Trucks band in las vegas in september with bb king (wow, right?) and i need to go see that. He and Warren are crazy good.

Jim, the lien search is done and the funds have been in escrow for months.
Seems my lawyer didn't get in touch with my bank until just a few weeks ago regarding the closing statement. He actually had this in hand in June but I guess he lost the damn thing.
To make matters even more complicated, instead of just giving him the name of their attorney, they gave him a LIST of attorneys to contact to retrieve my mortgage file. He is now waiting to hear from that lawyer to get into the mix. The bank is HSBC which is one of the largest in the world. I imagine myself as a teeny tiny ant working it's way through 3 inch high piling to get to the top where my file resides.
Closings in New York are ALWAYS hell for one reason or another. The problem is me - I let myself get all bent out of shape while the process works itself out. Patience is a virtue. :freaked:

Brotherhood of Lights used to do the background lighting stuff, prolly still do... out of Claude's hands, so Dickey is still part of the Br'erhood... I also heard a couple great stories from Michael Allman couple weeks back when we toured MICHIGAN... he is so cool to "run with" reminds me of the 'good ol daze' when his pop was a br'er... along wit the toler br'ers, Bruce, et al

Thanks to the wonderful Paradise Grill on Pensacola Beach for hosting the Skydogs Band this weekend. The boys rocked the place with some ABB and blues. Great to see so many old friends and buddies..many great memories. What a crowd!! Close to 500 people out to see the band and party on the patio!!
