😆 Glad the subject got changed too. I was thinking about making a football post to try to veer off the political course, but Dickey & GS news works too :lol2: .
No really folks..............so who y'all votin' for this coming tuesday RITFLMAO 😆 . Kidding of course. I think I've got a pretty good idea where my brothers and sisters stand on the political front. I don't think I'll have to remind everyone to git out n vote.

Generally, PMs are not supposed to be posted publically, however, I'd like you all to see what you have asked me to ignore.
I believe this internet bullying is illegal, is it not?
Hi Kimberly. Please let us know if we can send you anything. Fuel seems to be a huge issue for folks. I wish I could help you out. Let me know what you need and I will attempt to send. Stay tough Kimberly!!! You are a survivor!!!!! Peach.

Hi Kimberly. I'm so sad to hear about your situation. Is it possible for you to receive mail or shipments yet?
Hi Nic! Great being able to touch base with you here...still no electricity may be weeks...no gas in this area...it's going to get ugly as the tankers and distribution cnters were wrecked from Sandy and last nite got on gas line at 10:30 and off at 2:30 in the am on the Garden State Parkway at the Montvale NJ exit rest stop gas station...and sure did use up 1/4 to a 1/2 tank of gas waiting on line for 4 hrs!!! Working two full time jobs and sleeping hard with the cold air, going below freezing tonite...alot of fights at gas stations...just hope nobody steals my gas out of the car! Scary times we are amidst. Well it's lunchtime and going to keep warm in the car and a glass of montipuliciano for the blood is the plan....never saw the Northeast shut down because of no gas since 1972 when we had the odd and even plates gas congo lines...hang in there folks and look out for each other, Love, Kimberly
The truth is especially with the Navy our Troops are not getting all the supplies they need. The last thing we need to do is cut defense speding. If our Nation is sending troops in harms way the Govt should properly equip these Troops. Our Navy is in poor shape and the Air Force can't absorb the loss of 120 cargo planes.
Please keep our Servicemen, Servicewomen and their Families in you Thoughts and Prayers as they stand watch over us all. Peach.
My neighbor is headed to Kuwait this month. The government is not telling the American people the truth, no surprise there, about what is going on.
EX: Bengazi murders. South America taliban/muslim invasion. The take over of Africa by the taliban.
God bless our troops who go to defend our freedom.
Lizzie, fantastic review of the weekend. Life is good in the sunny South and we are all happy that you are happy in it! Macon is truly a throwback to a forgotten time, isn't it? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Lizzie. Macon is very cool and I look forward to our next visit. 😎
Hey Kev, I am having cell phone issues. I will PM you my home number. TGIF!! Enjoy your day folks as everyday is a Blessing!!! Many Prayers going to those who were in Sandy's path. Peach.

L i z z i e  it's good to read all is well and what fun you had at GABBA.
Macon sounds like a happening place to be. Thanks for sharing.
Today most of the ABB fans feel that facebook is more important sharing photos there instead of on the ABB site.. I don't visit facebook often , I guess I will go take a look at pictures .
Prayers and well wishes to all who need them..
Any updates on Donna >> >?

RIP Brother Duane and Berry...The music lives on....
Due to popular demand, here's a quick take on GABBA weekend. There was so much going on that it would be impossible to cover it all.
My new friend, Casey, came up from
VI-enna, GA (capitalization for pronunciation reasons) to stay with me and we immediately went over to Rose Hill to pay our respects. Luke pulled in about 1/2 a minute afterwards. The fence still looks awful but it does protect the gravesite from vandalism. At about 6, we headed over to the theatre and there was the usual hugging, kissing and picture taking. It's always like a very loving family reunion.
Willie's band, The Sonny Moorman band was headlining the weekend, so Casey and I got a table up front and were blessed to sit with Beeg Linda, Jules Negron (BO Jr.'s Mom) and the grandkids. Two more beautiful ladies (inside and out) you could not find to spend the evening with. Mystery Road, an ABB cover band, played the entire Eat a Peach album and did a phenomenal job. After a brief intermission, Kettle of Fish with Berry Duane Oakley performed a fantastic set. They are truly a great band and bound for great things. Afterwards, a lot of people headed over to Grant's for more music and libations but Casey and I headed home.
Saturday, we hit the H for lunch and then toured The Big House. We spent about an hour in the gift shop with Jules and Berry buying all sorts of things - every one of Berry's beautiful children (except for the baby) got a handful of gifts and I spent quite a bit of time talking with Berry's wife who has a band of her own and was toting a 4 month old. I forget the name of her band but I'll get it to you tomorrow because she gave Casey a CD and she has been listening to it ever since.
Oh yeah, a lot of folks headed over to the site of the 2nd Atlanta Pop Festival in Byron Saturday afternoon for a member's jam while we stayed in town. It looks like everyone had a great time if you belong to FB and can check out the pictures. Sorry, I have none to share.
Back to the Big House, EJ gave Casey and I a quick tour of Berry, Beeg Linda and Brittany's room which the two of them are in the process of bringing it back to 1970. It's going to be as special, maybe even more special, than Duane's bedroom.
The show on Saturday was also awesome. The Neal Lucas Band rocked the house, followed by the annual awards, some special presentations and the live auction. Oh yeah, pictures of Bill Ector and our recently departed Randy Stevens (Buppalo) graced the stage throughout.
Sonny Moorman and his band blew the house away as he would often run off the stage and sit down at somebody's table and take a piece of glassware and play flat bottleneck. Afterwards, was the highlight. Willie Perkins brought Goldie out on stage to hand to Sonny to play and Berry came out with his Daddy's Tractor. They launched into Dreams and you'd a sworn that both B.O. and Duane were being channeled through these guys. The rest of the songs they played were almost (I'm a little prejudiced to Dreams) as good. The show ended late but most headed over to The H where Mama stayed up late serving up chicken, veggies AND breakfast. That lady is a queen.
When Sonny and his band walked into The H, they got a standing ovation. I encourage all of you to check him out. His CD's do not do him justice (just like the band that we had gathered to honor).
I had a few more folk fill up the living room on Saturday night (Capn and a friend). Sunday morning was some nice chat, hot coffee, croissants and music. When everyone went home, I didn't want to straighten up. This home saw some good people come together around some good music to celebrate what we're all about here.
I'm glad I can call Macon home. It is back where it all began and where it continues. Peach.
I just heard from PeachNutt Gary, and he said they are okay. The power just came back on, and their house was not damaged. Good to hear it.
