Bless you Pam for posting, Love back at you, thinking of Nic. Warrior Nic.
And Dickey to Colorado? That is only two states south! And months to plan and save pennies... hmmm.... If I could only get my Formula done by then, what a fun road trip that would be, no AC, windows down and a new built 455HO... Not sure it will be done that soon though...
Hi Pam! Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing with us! My heart lights up every time I see a post from Nic as I'm sure many others here do as well. Nic is so well loved here, we are with you on feeling the void. We will all carry on as better people for having Nic in our lives.
If there is anything you need please let us know and we most certainly try and help.
Also, please feel free to come by here more often...we would all love to have be a part of our family here as much as Nic was! 🙂
Sending lots of love and healing vibes your way!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us Pam. I never got to met Nic, but his PMs always made me feel like we had been friends for a long time.
I don't know of anyone who could let his Soulshine like Nic. He taught us how we should not seat the small stuff, and my life is better for knowing him.
Mitch

Hey Pam, Nic was one of a kind, you know how I felt about him, sure do miss him. I know he is in heaven enjoying the streets of gold with Danny. God bless you.
Hey, this is Pam. Just wanted to thank y`all for all your kind words about Nic. We are feeling all the prayers. It warms my heart to feel the love on this site. My heart is broken for myself and for our kids, Scott, Sarah, and Jake, and for our Grandkids. But we will be alright. You can imagine how big of a void is in our family. But we have lots of support from our family and friends. You will all be a huge part in helping us heal. Thank y`all so much. love and hugs from all of us. Hug your loved ones tight, and let your soulshine. Pam and family.

Burning a candle for Nic and others missing.
There is a Greensboro thread in the forum. I can tell you from experience that removing the show from this site means something. When it happened in '11 for the Wild Bill's show, the venue had no idea it was canceled until they got my email and they then followed up w/ mgt.
It's disappointing, but I suggest one of you should do the same. You can get your money back sooner, and maybe make plans to come to Duluth.
Good afternoon Brothers and Sisters,
I'm not sure what's going on with the DBGS show in Greensboro, NC TennKev. I posted a couple weeks ago that it was not on Ticketmaster, or here, or pollstar. however, I called the venue and as far as they know it is still on and is selling quite well. Any help out there? I bought my tiks months ago. Hope to see some Dickheads in Carolina. Also, picked up the 9/26/71 show and the 2/13/72 show. The show from Stoneybrook, New York 1971 will bring a tear to your eye. "Dreams" and "IMOER" on one side and an 11 minute "Blue Sky" w'Duane on the other. I came home and dedicated the first time hearing these recordings to Nic and Dangerous Dan. KLbazur
"Dickey?...Dickey Betts is as bad as bad can be." Duane Allman, radio interview, 1971
We are going to Colorado! Yeah baby!
Got a couple of comments and or questions. Anybody in the loop with these cats:
Dickey Betts & Great Southern booking contact: Steve Schenck at Resolution Agency, (212) 879-5900.
or
Dickey Betts & Great Southern management contact: David Spero, (216) 381-5544.
I mean the word on the street is that the Greensboro venue is still selling tickets, but whoever is responsible for this site took the date off the home page.
Which brings me to this question......If there is a show, who is going to the show? And you know we gotta have a pre show, show, and for all the party animals...post show get together.

:waving: Hey Scott, great seeing your post and hope you and Pam continue posting. Love and hugs to you, Pam and family.
I have not been on the site for several weeks and am saddened to hear of Nic's passing. Nic was one of the first people I met on this site, actually it was the first ABB Beacon run after the split. Afterwards he sent me probably 25 Dickey shows on CD. He was a generous soul and will miss him immensely.Let your "soulshine" Nic I love you1
Hey mule don't be an ass..if that's possiable. I am sure Rowland is doing all he can.
just went back & watched the 2004 rrhof show... Dan Toler! Back where it all begins was as good as I have ever heard it
Hi Scott, I don't think members are allowed to change their username.
A person must register first to create their account and that is when they pick their username.
Ask Pam to login and register; how great would that be?
Continued condolences to your family.
Nic was the bright spot on this site!!
Hi All, this is Scott. I am trying to get mom set up on here to be able to chat with you guys, just cant change the user name is all. While I'm here I would like to say thank you and God bless for all of your support and love for the Nicodemus family. Reading all the post are very heartwarming....Have a Blue Sky day and Let Your Soulshine!
You are not the only one Rusty.
Hey there Rusty! Pretty sure many are experiencing log-in issues on the ABB site. I sure Rowland will be working on it soon. It seems to be working fine here on Dickey's site.
You and everyone else are always welcome here!
Sending lots of love to Pam and family, DDT's family and anyone else who are trying to get by.
Hoping for some warmer weather soon! More snow today for us with highs in the 20's all week... :cold:
Have a good Monday folks!
