Trust me Mr. King. Just like the Macon family experience we all had 1 yr. ago, you'll have the same experience spending time w/ Brother Tyler. A finer cat, along w/ his family, you'll never find. Its just a shame we are all so spread out over the country.
I hope he plays Blue Skys, it's my favorit sone in the whold wide world...

Got a call from the Carolina Theater this am. It's official the show for april 10 has been cancelled.....Bummer. On the plus side DBGS are coming to Chicago which is about 500 miles closer to Bloomington Indiana than Greensboro. Jeeeezz, I feel bad for all the Carolina people who won't get to see DBGS. Hey there everyone! :wave: So good to see lots of shows being added to the home page! I am gonna try and make one of the Chicago shows since I haven't seen Dickey since 2009. It's been way too long and I miss that 'ol Les Paul hittin' the note!
It warms my heart to see Dickey out on the road doing what he does best! Once that music is your blood...it's had to get rid of it!
Hopefully the warm weather will be here by then. It has been a nasty cold winter up here in Wisconsin. I am starting to wonder if the ice will even be off the lakes for the opening day of fishing on May 4th. Hope you all have a great day and like brother Nic used to say...Let your Soul Shine!!! 😎

Played Win, Lose or Draw yesterday, just got it on vinyl (again finally). It really is a much better album than I used to think. High Falls on there is so jazzy and great.... Dickey contributes great guitar on the whole album, the GA songs also. I also like playing the Wash The Windows vinyl, that one is so underrated, as is WLD. I think back in the day, these two albums were heard more in the shadow of Duane (and also B&S album in 73). I can listen more on a stand alone basis now, and they really have some gems on them... Brothers and Sisters also deserves some play, maybe today.

Just wanted to drop you a thank you note for signing my guitar this past Christmas and for inviting me to your BBQ and jam session at your ranch a few weeks back. It was a pleasure to finally meet you and your wife Donna. You and Great Southern are as sharp as ever and are truly an inspiration to me. It was a great time even though it happened be Dangerous Dan's last evening on this earth. He's playing the great gig in the sky now with all of his brothers and sisters.

been to the gelateria first floor at the mall took an icecream(2,60) and a coke for 2,50, had a smoke and then a crew of young russians entered.kind big hearted guys btw..inmid there she was...my favorite female singer.seemed for not the first time to me it came to meet her in my hood but this time ive been so certain.shes a beauty.after a while i could take my eyes off and went downstairs for a flower.well,she looked sweet and surprised and we changed some words.somehow i made it to walk on.home.
