Dickey Betts has always been a big influence on my songwriting. Here's a brand new Western Swing song that made it's debut at the 2013 Key West Songwriter's Festival: Seaplane
Oh well, after trying five times, apparently I'm no longer allowed to post videos here anymore. The embedded video no longer works for me. The () and [] used to do it

Totally due respect to Forrest, Brent. I will call you soon re gig.
My son, Forrest, returned from his second tour in Afganistan a month or so ago. Despite being wounded and his knee messed up, he is well and will have surgery to repair his knee.
This week, Forrest was selected by the USO as Air Force "Airman of the Year". Also, from his last deployment,
he was awarded two Bronze Star's. One with a 'V' for Valor. We are all very proud of his achievments and the service he gives to keep us free.
