Thank you, Rainy, for the beautiful science lesson! (Is there gonna be a quiz?) Plasma is cool! Just another sweet wonder of living here on the third stone from the sun.

Thanks Capn for posting in forum , I haven't listened to this one in awhile and it felt good on this early Thurs. morning. :inlove:
This song was written with love and that feeling is all over this tune. But it sure embodies what a Beautiful Blue Sky day ~feels~ like.
ps also a feel good day when Pam posts as well.. you've been missed Pam and as for Nic well it is hard to put into words about how we all feel about him and losing him. He is greatly missed . What a man .

We Love You Pam, almost as much as we Miss NIC...
I wanted so much to go to Indiana, figuring you might be there
TennKev, Bluedad and Taylor... Dang, wish I had gone to both
🙁
I have seen Dickey so many times over the years. At least 30. Hoping to see them more. Though I may have to get out my traveling trunk, and hit the road south.
Thanks Pam,I only met Nic that one time at the Beacon but his generosity and love was unparallelled. Glad to hear you got the chance to see him twice!
This is she Nic(Pam). Thoroughly enjoyed seein Dickey and Great Southern Sat. in Lawrenceburg, IN. Saw them Aug. 3rd in Chi Town. So glad to see them on the road again. We knew going in that they would be late coming on stage, and the show would not be long enough for us. But the show was great, and Mr. Betts`s fingers did their magic, along with some great muscians. Enjoyed spending time with Tennkevin, my son, Scott, and his fiance, Anita, and visiting with Cindy. With losing Nic to cancer this year, and losing our daughter-in-law in the accident, listening to Dickey Betts and Great Southern has been healing for my soul. Want to tell them thanks for the music, but saying thanks, just doesn`t seem enough. Just keep on playing the music we all love to love.
Greenwell...that family was in those National Lampoon flicks, right? Clark Greenwell?
yep hippy, me too.... the person who took the picture
Well you just go right on thinkin what ya want about who's in that picture.I spoke to the fella that went to NY with Betts last week. And he (alone)was in the green room with Dickey,Susan & Derek.
:bike:END OF STORY:bike:
I went to school with Tyler's Dad. He was my best friend in Jr High. His full name is John Barry Tyler Greenwell III. Funny how I remember that..
Thanks to those who have helped the JFD with a shirt. We still have some and need the help to continue the legacy for Duane.
Tyler Greenwell... that would be Mr and Mrs Greenwell's boy, right?
Oh Wow.. Tyler 🙂 now that is a great picture of both yourself and Dickey.. and I do see Andy A in back as well 🙂
What a treasure to have . I am jealous but in a good way
We have a good vibe back on the GB once again and I luv it.
Blue Sky days ahead for all.

Nope,,it ain't Duane Trucks:bike:
I don't believe I've EVER seen that much hair on DB's face......the color makes me feel better about my own...:D
Looks like Brother Tony in the mirror behind the photog.......John Howard for sure...
Always DID like Burton Cummings & the Guess Who back in the day......don't reckon ANY of them have the same pipes but thank God they still get out there and share.....
Burton Cummings voice was shot a few years back and I know he had the similar surgery that Doug Gray and many other singers have had in recent years. Sounds like it worked well for him. Does he sound like the Burton of old? I always thought he had one of the finest set of rock and roll pipes out there.
I didn't think it worked for Doug Gray initially but the last couple of times I've seen MTB I thought he did alright.
Congrats on the cool pic, Tyler.
Good afternoon Brothers and Sisters,
Went over to Lawrenceburg Saturday night. Dickey came on pretty late and unfortunately had to follow Dave Mason and Burton Cummings. Both had great sets and Burton Cummings is quite the "showman" All In all a good set by DBGS but not the best. Most people really enjoyed it but I'm spoiled. Still a great show and anytime I get to see Dickey and the gang I'm smiling. Pedro WAS killing it. I'm not sure if he's the best bass player in rock but he is the coolest cat out there right now. That's what I'm talkin about! KLBazur
