Anybody ever ponder this?
I was looking at a songlist for a friends birthday party and noticed this:
Jessica
Melissa
Both of these contain three common vowels, three consanants, double s's, and seven letters. That's a lot of air-play for so few letters!
OK, have I been listening to too much NPR?
Not to dismiss or ignore all others who suffer from different challenges, especially our wounded warriors. Adversity seems to bring out great strength.
That was certainly one heartfelt letter from Keegan. The strange irony is that those who suffer from the horrors of cancer seem to be given a wisdom and strength so see things as they really are, and to perfectly convey their feelings to their loved ones. Happy birthday, Keegan.
Yep! Got it on Time Warner! Peach, Rainy!
Good Morning Walter ๐
If you have cablevision ( that's here on L.I. ) I think down south it might be Comcast.. if you have on demand another add on to spend more money you can look it up and rent it..
I am embarrassed to say I did and it was great except I fell asleep.. ๐ฎ and missed a lot of it...
so I will rent it again soon.

Good Morning All :sunny:
Thanks Kirk for posting and sharing Keegan's letter from facebook... I am not sure what is going on with Keegan as I do not do the facebook thing.. She has crossed my mind and I have wondered about her health.
Hope all is well in her world .. and as always wishing her a Happy Birthday wish and a Blue Sky day..
It's my wish for all of us ๐
There have been many who have disappeared from here and they are all missed..

I never heard of Keegan's outcome officially. I do know that she had cancer. I also know that she stopped posting both here and Facebook. Her last post on Facebook was December 31st, 2011, which read:

Keegan,I don't know if this lines do reach you.Read about your Birthday and just want to congratulate.I'm very sad about your suffering. What makes me sad, too,is the fakt that you seek the reason for that in any fault. That was a believe in the middle ages.We all tried to asure you many times in one or the other way that you are a fine woman but we couldnt care enough...just watch over us a little,we're a crazy bunch ! Ride in peace

Thinking of Keegan on this her day of birth
thanks for the info on DDT & Frankie...
Rest in peace - true brothers.
Rainy, I was fortunate to play with Chuck Berry at a festival my band, the Dominos, were playing in Shreveport, La.. He was a hoot, a really funny guy. We had a blast on stage. He jammed with us and we played several of his tunes.
Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,
Been listening to the Macon show from Feb.1972. The last song played that night was "Hot Lanta" At the end there is a great applause but then it morphs into something else, more like a rumbling that turns into a roar. I've experienced this at other shows by Dickey (and others) including the DBGS summer 2004 show in Indy. Man.. Kris Jensen was on fire that night. I still find myself daydreaming about a reunion with ALL the wonderful musicians who have played with the Bros's. How cool would that be???!! Just a daydream mind you. Hope all is well out there. Sending good thoughts to the Brothers Toler from right here in Indiana and to Brother Nic from Piqua. KLBazur
