OMG is right Jim….whew I still cannot believe what I saw last night.
That game was one for the books for certain. I was texting Auburn lost…no Auburn WINS!…no, wait a minute there is a penalty….wait, GA has the ball…jeeze 🙂
Alabama is going to be another victory for us…. 🙂 I feel it.
OMFG!!!!!!! Auburn :mohawk::dance:
Got the Buckeyes on the big screen to open 12 hrs of BCS/SEC football......just wish Brother Nic could see his #3 Buckeyes.....they could very well make the Title game.....:beer:
Jim, we will put a whupping on GA no worries. Auburn is improving each week so by the time we play dem boys from ass-wipe me thinks we will be a-OK :).
Stumbled into this while watching Pedro and Duane - these guys are awesome! Band of Heathens

My buddy Pedro can play ANYthing with strings on it!!!!! (he studied @ Berklee in Boston).......
2007, between lunch & the gig @ Wild Bill's in ATL, I had the pleasure of going to a GUITAR CENTER store w/ him & Bain for strings etc, & some young kid was looking at an amp & bass & Pedro proceeded to teach him some licks.....the look on the boy's face was PRICELESS!!!! 😎
W/ the exception of DB himself, Pedro IS the most talented (& humble) member of the band.
it is called a lap steel guitar... they have been around a long time... pretty cool to see Pedro putting some funk into one.
What's Pedro calling that contraption, Capn? He smokes it, that's fer damned sure!
Thanks for postin that one, Capn! I gotta get over there and spend a few days and nights on the "west coast".
Oakley is really comfortable and is quite the fine singer! And Oh, Lordy....The Tractor Bass held by the iconic circle strap. Lotta history and vibe there.
Hope everybody's well!
Rj Howson was the dude on that black guitar.. he hosts the wednesday Blues jam every week at Ace's...
He came to us from Chicago a couple years ago.. He played Windy City Blues for 20 years prior... a fine musician and one helluva nice guy... we love him here in the sunshine state
Pedro's little Lap Steel was a custom made from one of our local Guitar Doctors... A guy at The Spirit Ranch who builds and repairs anything with strings... he and Pedro "put it together" as per Pedro's Imagination/Creativity
Yeah, Rick, I don't know of too many bands who got da groove like da Alabama Shakes!
Capn, who is the guy playing the black guitar? And looks like Pedro's playing the same kind of instrument that Junior Brown plays... Those guys are GOOD!!!! Now I KNOW Capn had a good time last night!
Hey Pinto:
Yep, those Shakers are pretty cool.
Last night at ACE's

There's so much amazing talent out there flying under the radar, it's stupefying! In towns all over the USA amazing musicians you're never going to hear on radio or tv. All the freshest best music is by the youth....wish it weren't so because I like to play music myself, but I see kids here in Columbia who can play circles around me all the time - only 14 or 15 years old! Makes me mad, jealous, and proud all at the same time.
More Shakes....

Morning Rick.......my USC Gamecocks sure could use some "help" from your AUBURN boys this weekend by beating Georgia!!!! :yep::ninja:.......if only someone would beat Missouri for us :wall::bawl:.......it would give us the SEC East 😎
Morning Kev, Pinto, Rainy, Capn, Jim...beautiful morning here
Hey, Kev! How are ya, Brutha?
