I heard this with different subject matter, as some of you may have. It is only an amusing tale, and is not meant to offend anyone. Lets try it.....
A rock n roll musician dies and goes to Heaven, where he is greeted at the Pearly Gates by Saint Peter. "Welcome to Heaven, son...what would you like to do"? The musician replies that he wants to hang out with other rockers who are in Heaven. He is suddenly standing in a large concert hall that has the name above the stage. "Wow...Fillmore East", he says. Saint Peter points him to the stage and says, "All the musicians are there". The man looks to the stage and begins to recognize the faces. Hendrix...Buddy Holly...Cash...Dangerous Dan...Gary Moore....Alvin Lee...Toy and Tommy...there are countless faces all standing in a giant circle and all seem healthy and happy. In the center of the circle stands a wiry dude with orange hair, mutton chops, and a crazy shirt with dragons all over it. He's playing a tobacco sunburst Les Paul, and everyone is watching and listening to his beautiful playing. The man turns to Saint Peter and says, "Wow....that's Duane Allman". Saint Peter replies, "No, son...thats actually God...he just THINKS he's Duane Allman!
