Hey! Has anyone heard from Capn? I tried texting him, but got a reply it's the wrong number. Sent an email... No reply...sent a PM here yesterday ...hope he's okay. I'm in his neck of the woods doing gigs and was hoping to touch base with him.

Howdy. Sorry but I'm not in for them speculations bout a Dickey/Gregg reuinion. Both have their legitimation to do their own thing. They had a legendary time togethether but that is long time gone.
What about things going on Now? Katey Perry,for example,to me she's nowadays Voice of America. I'm not hanging on the past. Fashion. Comes and goes, but good things always come back somehow,look at the 60's pin up movement. A DB/GA Reunion would be good for meeting old friends with drinking a lot but it wouldn take away the pain about times a gone. Check out some talent shows.And let the legend keep his dignity strech out his weary feet and tease them gators on the golf course !
X2 Jonesy. Probably a bit of difference in seeing all this as something to hang your hat on, or to vaguely feel it would be cool to see. Dickey commenting positively puts it a little out of just Gregg's scope. I see it as get the popcorn and sit back.
I'm sure they all saw how much cha ching the boy's in the Dead made at the farewell 50th deal.

Actually I don't see this. I never had the feeling Gregg Allman did anything but say what was on his mind at that moment. What I can speculate (and it is only my speculation) is that Gregg has reflected on the end of the ABB and may see the Betts situation in a different light now. If I want to be cynical I suppose the potential prospect of an ABB reunion with Betts will be greatly hyped and lucrative

I'm just happy to hear him say something nice about Dickey and that forgiveness between the two is possible/hopeful. That'd be cool enough for me. Playing together or some kind of reunion tour would be the icing on top.

I think it's very interesting and borders on exciting reading the comments from Gregg. I wonder if Dickey and Gregg have already had contact with each other because Gregg makes it sound like he is gung ho about playing with Dickey, and even throws the whole ABB into the comment mix as a possibility.
Would love to hear comment from Betts on all of this
