Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,
I hardly ever post anymore but wanted to give a shout out to Tenn Kev and the others who used to make this spot so great. Sorry to hear about Keegan. I will send good thoughts her way. I hope Dickey gets the urge to do a couple of shows soon. it's been awhile. We all were so lucky that DBGS went out on the road for 13 years or so. Saw many, many awesome shows. Never a bad one but some better than others. One of the fondest memories… March 2004 or 3 in Oakley, Ohio (seriously) with dangerous Dan Toler providing Dickey's foil. Opened up with "Little Martha" I shit you not. I have the set list signed by the man himself. Thanks Dickey! Take care all. enjoy the week end. KLBazur
"Dickey?…. Dickey Betts is as bad as bad can be." Duane Allman, radio interview 1971
Sincere heartfelt condolences to the Sibley family on your tragic loss.... No One should have to bury their son. It's something i would not wish upon my worst enemy.
On a lighter note..

Yeah I forgot that was another hijack. Sorry Jim.
Continued love and prayers to you and your family skyponydogboy. Hope the Jam For Duane goes great and everyone has a good ol' time.
Just a heads up Brother Dan. Mr. King doesn't use that name anymore. Sadly, like everyone else, he rarely posts anymore and when he does, I think he goes by 7riverstocross now.
I don't think it would take you or anyone else long to figure out who hijacked his old user name and account.
Thank you Kirk for letting us know about Keegan. I had often wondered what happened to her. She was a kind and sweet person who loved the band and loved her some Duane Betts. Very saddened to read that she passed away. Very kind and thoughtful of you Bro, thank you.
Good vibes to the few that are still left and those that used to post but may peak in from time to time. Hope everyone is doing well.

I've heard nothing but good things about that movie - haven't seen it yet, but thanks for reminding me.
Also, check out "Cadillac Records." IMO a great movie about Chess Records including music by Muddy Waters, Walter Jacobs, Howlin' Wolf, The Stones, Etta James, Chuck Berry, and more.
Christmas time soon to come, people went from this earth or out of my heart, rest seems to be afraid,or just have trust in my faith, yearning for the new day but why, precious time going by,stands for change alright,if we were born to be,completetly satisfied, maybe cave was still our home, real hard to stay true all the way,to some heart or the sg,still giving thanks for every meal, days of mist and mistery
Marshall Tucker Band fans--found something I think you'll enjoy--an interview with Tommy Caldwell. Never saw or heard one before but here is a link. Really cool, MTB was one of the most under rated bands of all time:

Great news Stephen! A 1979 show with an extended "Pegasus." '79 is a very under rated year in ABB circles. Some live licks from Dangerous Dan Toler.
Underground Enlightened Rogues era live show coming! :type: (according to post on blue site) -- Dec. 1979 from Nassau Colesium :guitar:
It & new ABB book by Kirk West due out next month -- new book by Willie Perkins & Jack Weston gets nice review
