I've heard the same sentiments about D the B many times. Glad you enjoyed the show!
An old friend in Florida has always raved about the band "Donna The Buffalo"and I got a chance to see them for the first time last night in Albuquerque and I must say that they are amazing! They are truly about the music and they brought it last night. Will absolutely go see them again!

We will still have fried chicken and greens. It will still be a soul food restaurant but we will add a few new things,” he said. “Mama Louise will still be involved -- she will still work there.”

With Regard to Ramblin Man ( in loving memory Augie)
Les Dudek: " The control room was packed the night we listened to the final playback. Phil Walden and all the executives from Capricorn were there along with the band's road crew. It was Duane's band, and everyone was just trying to survive his death. The band's signature sound was the double guitar harmony thing, with Duane and Dickey—and Dickey and I had just carried on the tradition, with the guitar harmonies—a salute to Duane. When the playback stopped, you could hear a pin drop.
~ Then Red Dog [roadie Joe Campbell] said, "Damn. That's the best I've heard since Duane."
Mary, thanks a bunch. It's been fun creating this band, even though it's been a bunch of work. Especially for me, seeing as I hardly every played for several years before I started again about 3 years ago.
If you want, please turn others onto us.
If anyone goes to check out the Blues Doctors' radio broadcast, I want to hear how good you think that band must be now if they've improved exponentially over phenomenal!
Welcome Neil! You make great music, glad to have your around. 🙂
Fantastic music, Neil! I'm so glad you're posting on the guestbook! Stick around!
Pinto - thanks for the promo and compliments. The band has worked hard and we've improved exponentially from the radio broadcast. We've recently added tunes like "One Foot in the Bayou", "Louisiana Style", "Crescent City" and many more. The sound has grown into what we wanted in the first place, a Southwest Lousiana roadhouse on a steamy Saturday night.
I sure hope that others here give us a listen.
Thanks, Ed!!!

Everybody take a look at The Blues Doctors website. The founding member of the band, our own Neil McPhail, aka "nacm", sort of dropped off the grid when he moved onto a ranch in the Arizona desert several years ago, but now he's back in "civilization" living in Colorado and has a terrific new band. To hear Neil singing the awesome Muddy Waters tune, Blow Wind Blow, go to the music section and it's Track # 4. There's also a crystal clear recording of the BD's from a radio show which you can stream or download free in the mp3 format.
I love these folks and they've got several tricks up their sleeves!
