😎
PUKE!!!! 😎
Dies anyone have a copy the show DB&GS show at the Albany Egg in upstate NY?
I was there and was blown away by the tone coming from Duane's amp that night.
I helped load the equipment into the trailer at the end of the night and one of the roadies told me that that was the amp Dickey played with on the Live at the Fillmore East album.
The nest live record ever recorded!
Merry Christmas
Nice try prine on trying hijack my name ya loser
Saw a clip of brother Duane betts at the beacon theatre last night!!! Didn't I tell ya!!!
May the turtle walk behind you and the eagle fly above you and the beaver be waiting for you. )))))))--------------))))
What's up ? Been a long time since I checked in here with my fellow Dickheads and Dickheadresses...
One thing will always stay constant... Dickey Betts is the greatest of all time...
His playing and compositions are medicine for the soul...no one has ever made me have that feeling and spirit as seeing Dickey play...the tone, the spirit...they're are no substitutes...he is a one of a kind that will never be duplicated.
Thank you Dickey for all the great years and great music and memories...enjoy your retirement.
I will continue to enlighten my children and now grandchildren to your magic...
Here's to Blue Skies in everyone's future...
Singing While I'm :walk:
Look, there's Duck Tales on the TV. How about some popcorn ?
Hey there everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday! Been listening to the Fillmore album and can't help but think how cool that record was and what an awesome version of Mountain Jam!
I have been looking for newer versions with Dickey and it seems like after Duane passed it was rarely played anymore. The clip I found was with DDT from the late 70's.
Take care everyone!
😎

Happy Thanksgiving to Dickey and the band and to everyone here!
So much to be thankful for I don't know where to start!
Take care...
😎
Happy Thanksgiving folks!! and remember are service members too!
Hi ! I'd like one Album bout his origins, his roots. Could be selected compilations or covers from Django R. etc. 1978 seems like yesterday and that was totall hot soo much !
I would love to see a collectors # 2, maybe some home recordings etc... Love you Dickey Betts
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL
A collectors volume 2 would be pretty sweet too, but anything he would like to do would be fine w/ me.
Hope all you cats have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Hey SWA22, I think your signature says it all.
I agree, no one here seems to want to talk guitar anymore either.
I also think that as of now, it's probably safe to say that Dickey has retired. 40+ years on the road has got to take its toll. His amazing body of work speaks for itself.
That said, I'd still love to see him in a stone cold blues band.
Where is everybody on this site?
It used to be much more active...
Hey Leaf, Thanks...no soap dropping on this end...I wouldn't consider myself an ex-con, just a 20 day stint in Fairfax, Virginia for being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Being cooped up with 20 guys with no yard to walk, leads to fist-a-cuffs once in awhile...sh*t happens
I'd like to be thought as a songwriter and guitar player not an ex-con...remember Merle Haggard was in Folsom Prison when Johnny Cash recorded his live album sitting in the front row.
Prison taught me to appreciate my freedom, every day, every minute, every second!
Keep on Rockin' in the Freeworld!
