rainy, a free show for you:
Scott Sharrard to Play Rockwood Music Hall with Special Guests
Gregg Allman’s musical director and lead guitarist Scott Sharrard will play a show at Rockwood Music Hall in New York on December 15, closing out his touring slate this year.
The free show will include a full horn section sitting in before The Spin Doctors’ Aaron Comess takes Stage 2 with his Air Conditioned Gypsies project that features Vernon Reid, Leon Gruenbaum and Richard Hammond.
Darn solid job doing Gilmour/Floyd too!! Right on Duane. :guitar:
Very impressive solo from Duane Betts on Blue Sky. He really has gotten polished in his time away from Great Southern. His playing seemed relaxed and apparently he has inherited that gene with the unmistakable tone.
Warren seemed to really dig his solo too. Nice seeing them both together!
Rainy I am sure you would have been most proud watching Duane at xmas jam. He had several fine fine moments during the Dawes set as well and hung around watching everything from the side of the stage.
Here is a few from the Dawes set.

:clapping: :clapping: Thanks for posting and sharing ... I'm sure Duane gets tired n bored with all the comparisons between him n his pop , but WOW carbon copy of pop especially with the stash .
Sound is incredibly good.
Been missing some live music lately . I haven't even had time to see Andy Aledort @ The Viking . One day soon I'll try to get there.
Come on Dickey we are all missing the tone , melodys , musical magic that you make and the Great Southern Band.
Put tickets on sale and they will come from far and wide

Duane did a very nice job with Warren. Very cool moment to see. Nice way to honor Dickey on his birthday though of course this moment was actually early the next morning.

Happy Birthday to a bona fide, certified, bad-assed American musical icon and a man whose music has been part of the soundtrack of most of my life. I can still remember the moment, when as a 7th grader an older friend gave me a ride home from football practice and Ramblin Man came on the crappy little AM radio in his car - I was in for life right then and there. God Bless Dickey Betts.
Happy Birthday Dickey! Your family loves you and misses you and the band and our families on the road!
Get your shit together and get back on the road...come on you have spent enough time hibernating!
We all love you and wish you a very Happy Birthday as we are entering the Christmas season.
Love to everybody here and rock on!
Love, Kimberly
Happy Birthday Dickey I hope we can all get one more chance we love you!
Happy Birthday Dickey. Thanks for all of your music.
