Dickey has retired before an come back. I remember seeing him in NY City and he was waving good bye. That was a bitter sweet night. But he came back after some time. Dickey is older now I imagine he is retired now but when the music bug comes a calling he will hit the road again. Most likely on a limited schedule. I am so glad I took those road trips to see him play in the 2000's. I saw some kick ass shows. When Dickey was on it was almost like a religious experience for me. All I can say is thank you Brother Dickey. You have enriched my life with some awesome music. Ed
