Oh I'm surprised. Surprised about a lot of things here. The BIGGEST is from someone I've always loved and admired on here. I think this person was the first or certainly one of the first to welcome me to this site when I first posted.
This person loves Dickey Betts and knows him and is probably closer with him than any of us. I have actually met this person, love him and have always respected him.
Sadly, even with all the love that this person has for Dickey and his family, he is doing a HUGE disservice to Dickey Betts. I'm really sorry and saddened to have to say that.
I realize why one moderator handed back their title and doesn't care anymore. I was PM'd by that moderator months past and he had too much to risk in his personal and private life because of you Mary.
It's just pure evil and meanness, the things you'll do by hijacking accounts along with all of your other cyber BS and bullying.
The other two moderators? I don't know what to say. I've always liked all of the moderators and NEVER had any bad dealings or arguments with any of them. One of them actually puts you in your place every once in a while with a timely post.
Why you are allowed to post here, I'll never understand. Yes, ultimately this should be handled by Spero, but why were moderators appointed? YOU MARY, are the reason that moderators were appointed here in the first place. Why are people scared of a cyber bullying turd like you? I am surprised by that too.
Mary - great article about Duane's '57 Paul. Strange that Duane wanted the electrics from the '57 installed into the cherry '59 he swapped it for. I certainly could be wrong, but I think the electrics on both are the same. I think the '57 was the first year with humbuckers.
Also interesting to me is the fact that at the time 3 of the finest players ever were all playing cherry sunburst Les Pauls - Clapton, Duane, and Mike Bloomfield.

I was actually hoping that after forty-five years, the ABB might throw us a bone and stream the last couple of shows worldwide, for free. Just like they did for this years summer festivals, and just like they did at Piedmont Park back where it all began.
That would be the right thing to do.
