Had such high hopes things were lookin up.The 3-4 hour surgery today turned into 6 1/2.Dr said her arm is much worse than he thought.Elbow was dislocated in the accident and the ?(long word)was completely shaved off and ground to nothing.Swelling is very bad, lost 3 inches on the lenght of her arm, lotta bone totally gone ,plates pins & on and on and on.Coming home next week is out the window. And multiple surgeries are back on the board. Had such high hopes the youngen was on the re-bound.And man it hurts like hell to see her goin thru so much. And all on the account of a monster feedin off her,& takin everything the child had.Chewed her up,stole from her,put her down, took, took, took & spit her out.But i've gotta leave this with GOD or its gonna take the head where it needs to stay away from. Your prayers have meant so much. And i ask once again to keep em comin.Been a hard week for sure. And i'm trustin GOD for the comfort & strenght she needs. And for his almighty hand to guide and direct us & to be a rock for her to lean on.The child has a tall mountain ahead of her to climb. And to any young parents out there.PLEASE keep your children close to ya.And when your heart starts tellin ya something ain't right with a relationship etc their in.DO WHATEVER ya can to get em out of it.Cause theres people out there that'll rip the flesh right from their bones, tear their spirit apart ,& laugh while doin it.Very un settling thought. But its a cold fact. On the other hand.Sometimes ya do all you can.And it takes something like this to open their eyes. And what a heartache it is thats runs thru the core of your soul & spirit.

Had to go back and read a little - Luke, I am THRILLED about Amy. See what faith can do? And yes, Jim, I'll wave as I pass over. Why, praytell, are you not coming to honor :dog: Had a weird dream last night, probably as a result of someone posting the pictures of the road crew behind the band at the Beacon. I dreamt the whole picture show and it was very weird. Willie and Kim are the sole survivors. God, we're getting old before our time. I think this celebration of Red Dog's life is more than that - Duane, always said they'd be no where without the crew, he made sure they always got paid first and finally this is the time to celebrate those boys who were the first to be pictured equally on an album cover with the band they supported. A very special bunch of guys - and I miss Twiggs and Red Dog, especially. God bless the roadies of the Allman Brothers Band.

Still gonna try to get up for Red Dogs party. Please put me in on the list for a room. :angel2:Amy is doin so much better. The dr went in today thats gonna do the surgery tommorrow. He said he was blown away by the healing thats gone on the past week.Still gonna have to fuse some bones, graphs etc.But if things keep goin like they are now.And by the GRACE of GOD,i KNOW they will. She'll be comin home in about another week.PRAISE GOD! Nic,Liz, and any others that are goin thru trails and or pain.Keep the FAITH.This walk down here as we know it on earth can be snuffed in a blink. And my eyes have been opened and the heart has realized to take notice to every blessing in the present.Leave tommorrow alone & yesterday is long gone.Make the best of the here and now.And do our best to take notice and appreciate every blessing. Oh yeah!Amy was on cloud 9 to show me something when i got to the hospital today. She was able(with a lotta determination & grit)to touch her thumb and index finger together.Bless her heart. It took her a while. But she did it. Thank you, thank, thank you, once again for your PRAYERS & LOVE!:angel2:

Hey Now!! Happy Belated Birthday Chet. Thanks for all you do to spread around the Music and Brotherhood. May you have a Blue Sky day and may your Soulshine. Hey Marcy. We recently stayed at the Best Western on Riverside. It was nice and very affordable. It is a short drive from downtown though. Chris Hicks who once played for MTB was playing unplugged solo in the lounge on Wednesday nights and sounded very good. We had fun hanging with him as we had met him a few years ago. I hope you all have a Goodtime in Macon paying tribute to our Brother!! 😎 Peach.
