Thanks, Rick. One day at a time. Rented a car for the weekend - hoping I can get "him" psyched for a drive to CT. on Saturday. I need me some Dickey very, very badly. And to my LI Crew, we've got to make some plans to hook up in August. A gig without my peeps is sorely lacking.

Thanks for the update, Kevin. Never had the pleasure to meet Nic and Pam, but it's so obvious that what Ghandi said about them is true. Prayers go up. Blessings come down.

Yesterday when I got off work, I tried to call Pam. I wasn't able to talk to her, but I did leave a message. So when I wake up this morning there was a message on my machine from her. Thank you Pam. Anyway, she said that Brother Nic got thru the surgery. The Dr.'s feel like they got all of the cancer. He was able to stand up a couple of times, but is in a lot of pain. Got all sorts of tubes going in him. Not in ICU, but the next step down. Seemed or rather sounded optimistic about everything, which is great to hear. She especially wanted to thank us all for the love and prayers. So, thank you Pam and continued love and prayers for Nic and you.

They had to make a larger incision. He needs blood. He has about another hour to go. Pam says this is all normal for this type of surgery. She says that she and Nic are lucky to have so many friends and family and sends love to all. Sending continued love and prayers to the Buckeye state... ----------------------- Just be fabulous
