Dan, we can agree to disagree on the new PF album. Actually, I'm glad you like it. Tremendous artists, incredible resume, just came up flat for me, but that's just my opinion and it's not quite worth the "paper" it's written on.

Listening to Dark Side Of the Moon.this album was huge back in 1973 we all had it.
I for like the new Floyd album..mind you I've been a fan of their's since 69. Seen about a half dozer times from the Meddle album on up. Endless River fits in right with their last two studio album. If I'm in the minority so be it . I will say this it sure beats the hell out peakin' at the beacon fiasco.

Nice post blue sky. I feel the same as you. I believe that line-up was one of the strongest since the original. Just love Liz Reed at Great Woods. Dickey and Warren "killed" it!
That's why I don't bother approaching musicians for autographs, etc. I assume they don't want to be bothered. I wouldn't want to be. Fans are the curse of being an artist, I'm sure of it.
I don't hate Gregg Allman - I don't know him and he doesn't know me - so it would be hard to hate somebody I don't know - but I wish he wasn't a liar and a hypocrite. That's been publicly documented.
All these guys have skeletons in their closet, and the funny thing is, they don't give a shit about you or I. I'm sure if I happened to bump into one of them and told them I was fan, they would say thank you and forget about me in about 10 seconds or less.
Tennkev - Excellent point! Wright's absence is supposedly the reason that there will be no tour to promote the new album.
Having a few more $$$ is always a good thing (I can never bring my self to use the term "extra money.")
I haven't heard the new PF stuff either, but I guess they wanted to put all of the stuff out that Richard Wright played on since he passed away. And I guess making a buck or two doesn't hurt either.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to knock Floyd - they were great. Dark Side is a beautifully crafted album and an all-time great. But, from what I've heard of the new album, it just seems to be redundant. The artistry is still wonderful - but there just doesn't seem to be any point to the release.
Speaking of Pink Floyd don't know about the new album. I'll never forget the Dark side of the moon tour Tampa 73 their sound system was out of this world. The acid enhanced everything.one of the greatest shows I ever saw.

And realistically nacm could always be another one of Mary's aliases. kiltsy too for that matter. As many web of lies that Mary has spun over the past 10 years, it wouldn't surprise me.
Why anyone would "engage" Mary in a civil manner is definitely something that makes you go hmmmmmmmm.
