Hey there everyone! :wave: I wanted to share this pic of my son Derek! A good friend of mine sells T-shirts for bands at many of the bigger shows that come through Milwaukee. He came across one that was in the warehouse from some years back. It was a size small so he immediatly thought of Derek! Derek has a ways to go yet but when he's a little bigger he'll have one hell of a good T-shirt of dad's favorite guitar player!!!! 🙂

Oh yes, let's not forget Capn was in the house and everytime we ran into each other, big time smiles, yes folks we were quite humbled by Danny's fundraiser and the good times us old buddies shared...as Nic put it, the best days of the life again!

P.S. Mark you were killer on that guitar this weekend, I enjoyed watching you play, multi-talented and then again that Chris Anderson from Marshall Tucker boys was really phenomenal.
I am up and heading to Siesta Key beach (might be one of the best beaches I have seen, turquoise water, white crystal sand) and sweet Lizzie, wish I could have put you in my suitcase...but your spirit was with me all along! lol....We celebrated Paul and Heidi's 11th wedding anniversary and I got all the musician's I saw in my path to sign the card, especially the Dickey and Great Southern boys! My favorite moments was spending time with Mike Kach (I love that guy) and Frankie and well hell everybody, Katie and Mike Mahar, Carlos, Bain, Noah, James, Duane, let's not forget Dickey, and good times with Pedro and Paul and Heidi, Luke and Gina (and lovely daughter), Nic and Pam from Ohio!
Chris Anderson was alot of fun and having Warren in the house (I mean the ranch) was off the charts...I am speechless for know and heading to the beach to take it all in before I have to come back to NY!!! Also going to check out Myakka State Park just hope I don't run into any alligators...

Brother Nic, I am so happy for you. I too had one of the finest weekends I've had in many many moons. All the glory and thanks go to God for blessings beyond description. Gotta work to make sure more of these memories get added to the existing collection! Let's all try to live today in a fashion that it will be another file in the good memory book of our minds!
Kevin, glad you're doing better. Why, dear one, do you think junkies scratch? I found out too but my pain meds are very minimal considering "my history" ahem.
Got the welfare guy coming today. Got the love coming from Florida. Although I need a cane these days, my heart goes out to Danny. Considering all those people that showed up for him, even if you never met him, you can imagine what a beautiful man he is.
Waiting for the sunrise in NY, Rajo. I hope it won't be so grey today.

Hey Now. I am so moved by what has went on here a the DDT benefit. The Music, the Brotherhood, the Love and the Goodtimes. It will take me awhile to digest and talk of what went on here this weekend. I am Blessed everyday, but these past two days are the best days of my life. Praise God!!!!!! Peach.
Glad to see so many good folks helping out DDT! I saw some of the pictures on facebook and it looked wonderful! God bless DDT and all the great musicians that took the time to go down and help a brother in need.
That is the spirit folks that we talk about with the brotherhood... Wish there was more of that...

Yes Sir, Mr. Warren Haynes came off tour and stopped by to honor Danny Toler tonite and hang out at Hershberger Ranch on Fruitville Road...wow...wow...it was a magical nite for sure...Artimus Pyle and Lyn Skynard, Marshall Tucker, damn that Chris Anderson is a really nice guy from Marshall Tucker...so many hot bands all day and nite...Mike Kach Group, Frankie Lombardi...it was like having Warren stop by and play in your backyard...wow...and it was all for Danny Toler...I am speechless recollecting the evening and will be going to bed with a smile on my face...alot of love in the house!
