I will be rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes tomorrow in the Gator Bowl. Pam and I would liked to have went as we were married and lived in Jacksonville back in the early to mid 70's. In 75 we went to see the Rolling Stones at the Gator Bowl. In 76 we went to Sunshine Jam also at the Gator Bowl, an all day concert for the Jimmy Carter Political Fund. Our man Dickey played it as did Chuck Levell and other members of the ABB. That was the day Elija Blue Allman was born and Gregg was doing the Husband/Daddy gig with Cher. 😎 Dickey played with MTB and CDB to name a couple of bands.

Prine, to call yourself a troll is too flattering to what you really are, which is a sad sad character. You must really be a tormented soul. I wonder what happened to you to be so hard hearted and actually thrive on angering other people rather than wanting to join them in fellowship. You must be totally alienated from other people - no friends, no one to love or to love you. I imagine you're completely narcicistic, having no capacity to understand the feelings of other people and totally focused only upon yourself. Let me say this... if you are experiencing feelings of self loathing, worthlessness, and depression and are considering suicide, I hope you realize that there is still hope for your redemption through Jesus Christ . It's an open door for you to walk through - one which offers you everything which you are missing in your sad life. I am praying that your heart cracks open and you will allow Jesus to come in to fill every void in your life.
You are not a popular person around here. I confess that I truly despise you. You are without question one of the rottenest and most sordid people I have ever been exposed to. But I would like nothing more than to see you turn over a new leaf and get yourself straightened out. I'm certain other people feel the same way.

Love this website and have for many years now but I completely agree with the folks complaining about all the religious chatter. It's fine here and there but I see people lecturing others, quoting from scripture and interpreting poorly... It's just really in bad taste.

Truly, all this celebrating will be noticed by the troll and will fuel him/her/it to return even worse than before. We would all be wise to go back and remove any and all posts we have written which refer to it by name or reference any post or comment by that person and WHEN - NOT IF - that person returns we should COMPLETELY IGNORE whatever it writes and start reporting to whomever are the powers that be - I guess Ghandi knows. I don't. "Completely ignore" means pretend it's not even there. Don't react to it in any way no matter how vague or oblique the reference. It thrives on attention so don't give it what it wants. I'll be tied up until late tonight but I will go back to the origins of this controversy and remove all my posts to and about the troll tonight so this is the last time I will say anything about this on the guestbook.
If this post sounds like I'm telling everyone what to do, I'm very sorry. I just thought of that. Please just regard this as my opinion and each person do what he/she thinks is best.

Greetings from the island the native Americans called "Manahatta". Here's to a great 2012. Drove to NYC from Indiana, brought some ABB (w/dickey of course) to make the trip a little less boring. It worked. I did hear some ABB w/out the Dickster on sattelite radio , "Ain't wasting time no more" great song by Gregg and I always loved DB's guitar work. That being said, on this version I must admit Warren did a fine imitation. No offense to D. Trucks, I know he is a fine player but whenever I hear his giutar work it sounds "scratchy," whereas Duane's sound was very clear. Have a good and healthy year all. KLBazur
