Pinto, Derek hasn't gotten down any chords yet but I'm sure it won't take him long. It's amazing to see how fast he learns and picks things up. I could only hope he feels and is touched by Dickey and Duane's playing as I have been. 🙂

Tyler, looks like that little whippersnapper is gonna be an axe totin' son of a gun sooner rather than later. He'll probably learn every lick you know by age 8 and then move on to Duane Allman and Dickey! Does he know any chords yet?

Hey Now!! Some of you have inquired on how I am doing these daze. I am doing just fine. We go back to the Aurthur G James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University next friday for a PET/CT scan. We then return on the following Wednesday for a visit with my Oncologist. We are Praying for more good results!! We then leave there and proceed on to Macon for the DDT Benefit!!! 😎
We will arrive in Macon on Thursday and most likley leave on Sunday. Thanks to all of you who are involved in helping Pam and I make this event. We are very much excited about meeting some new Friends and renewing some old Frienships!!! This trip to Macon is just what the Dr ordered for us. Hoping to help raise some $$$ for a Brother in need.
I was just looking through some get well cards I have received during the past 9 months or so. Some of them are from you all. Hell, one came all the way from Afganistan and one from Germany!!! The Macon Marriot does not have their pricing for the Dangerous Dan Benefit updated yet and it will be a few days before they do. We all probably need to wait until Monday and then call for reservations. The number is 478.621.5300.
Another word is that there will be plenty of rooms available....

Nic and Rainy, I think that might be the best Soulshine I have ever seen and there are many many versions out there. Not to diss the Cat In The Hat, but I believe his boy "outdone" him in that one. That is so SOULFUL, HARMONIC, and MELODIOUS that I got goosebumps - especially watching Warren watching Duane FULL of appreciation and admiration. I'd give it a 10 if the rest of the song were present because Warren sang it beautifully at the end. As it is I have to rate it only 9.999999999999!!!
