I am very sorry to hear of the staph infection Donna is fighting. It is a very seriou illness and I send my Prayers to her and Dickey. She has always been very kind to me.
As a few of you know 2 weeks ago I became ill following a chemo infusion. I would up in a critical care hospital for 4 days. My chemo port was infected and had to be removed. I then had 2 staph infections in the blood system. Fortunately I got the right Drs, nurses and hospital to turn it around. I am now on IV anti-biotics at home and feeling much better. Staph is a very serious infection and can be life-threatening.
How about if we all ignore the lame posting which goes on here from time to time and concentrate on sending healing vibes to Donna and Dickey?? I am sure they could use some help at this point. Life is very fragile and can be way to short. Peach.
I know most here recognize peacemaniac is merely another of Prine's psychotic alter-egos, as opposed to the respected and valued peachmaniac.
Needless to say, Prine just cannot stop himself from making shit up, and obviously I would never make the sort of comment Prine attempted to attribute to me.
As many on this list can certainly testify: when a man’s girl is hurting, we take it real personal.

I just heard this morning that DB shows were cancelled because of a sudden illness to Donna.. so my prayers and well wishes are with her and her complete recovery...
ON another note ..also heard that the MTB will be at Wesbury in very early Sept.. and their opening band is one that was very popular here on L.I. in the 70's The Stanton Anderson Band..they were very good... I am thinking of getting tickets.. 🙂

Welcome back Rajo!! I also am sorry to hear of the illness close to Dickey and Donna. I know my illness has changed a lot of our plans lately. We want very much to attend the Basic Training Graduation of our grandson Myles in Septemeber in San Antonio TX. My chemo schedule will most likely not allow us to attend. I am encouraging Pam to go without me but she does not want to go without me. If we will not be able to attend we will go visit him at his next duty station. He is doing very well in boot camp and we are very proud of him!!! Keep Em Flyin Myles!!!!
