I'd like to chime in on Neil. I never met him, but he was from NY and we used to talk about a lot of common shows we'd been to.
He loved the Grateful Dead quite a bit, and we used to trade a lot of those shows with each other. We used to always PM each other and i dug our communications. He is being thought of today in the kindest of ways and i hope his sweet memory continues to live on

In Nov 2002 Pam and I went to Johnston Pa to see DB&GS. Neil, Cindy and Jessica came the next day. Some cat jumpted Neil that night and Cindy really tore into the guy tearing out part of a finer nail. The band & crew had to bandage her up.
Later that night Brother Dave took us on the bus. Dickey was in a goodtime mood and we drank every budweiser on that bus until about 3 AM!!!! JJ gave us all the poster he designed and the entire band and crew all signed them.
There is a picture floating around this website with the four of in bed together at the hotel before the show. Jessica took it. One of the best R&R weekends ever. 😎 Goodtimes!!!!!! Peach.
Missing Neil today. He always had a gentle way about him...I never got a chance to meet him...just once he was in NY but we couldn't find a way to connect. We traded music and such, and he was generous like that. Wish he were still here.
