Very hard at Christmas thinking about my son Forrest in Afganistan. He is doing well considering what he is doing.

I felt I should stop by and fill you all in as I brought up my situation. I am sorry to disappoint you 1995 but I have decided to post.
The cancer tumor has grown considerabley. The lypmhadema in my leg is putting pressure on my kidney and it is enlarged. I am going to a uroligist early tomorrow to find out if a stint can be put in between the bladder and kidney to relieve the swelling.
The Dr is sending me to a radiation oncologist to determine if I can receive some radiation to slow down the cancer growth. Also two new chemo's are orderd and should begin soon.
We are praying all this may slow down the cancer and buy me some time. It is a lot to digest all at once but we are fighting the fight. The Dr said she is not throwing in the towel yet.
Things will begin tomorrow and happen at a rather fast pace for a few weeks. Thanks to all of you for the support and Love you have shown. I owe so much to Pam and do not know where I would be without her and my children at this point. I Love Pam and the kids very much.
I hope we can move forward on this site and begin to enjoy the music of Dickey and all the musicians that surraound him. This is a cool place to hang and we should not let a few disrupt the entire house. Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to you all. Peach

Healing vibes to nic and danny toler! This site is about music,friendship,community. If people want to fight ,they can do it with pms and leave the rest of us in peace. For all the turmoil over the last week on these pages in a way I feel responsiabel..because I started it by makeing a comment about the loincloth man...I never in my imagination did I think that that comment would create such a commotion...emotions have gone the gauntlet these last few days ! I am am at a complete lost for words except to say I am sorry for starting this in the first place.
Alot have folks have stated their reasons for not posting any more and they are pretty much the same..this site is for the music and the enjoyment we get from Dickey and that should be it. Not our personel agenda's to inform to thse of that come here. And yes I am guilty of this too. So for now on I will keep to the music and keep the bullsh&t out of here.
