Hi All
How do you Upload Pics to Guestbook
Great Les Dudek stuff -- OMGosh the playing at the end of the first side of Ghost Town Parade (forgotten the song) -- Great album :ohyeah:
Bless you bro. Jim/Ghandi -- thoughts out today to Liz and Nic -- everyone enjoy the summer & be careful in the heat
Oh how I love to spin my ol Les Dudek albums....I wonder if Les gets any royalties from his Brothers and Sisters work? I believe he plays the 2nd part of the hook at the end of Ramblin Man where the slide breaks in. I also love Les's singing. Sad Clown is such a cool tune. One of my favorites is "Baby, Sweet Baby".....
"You take me to the limit without a thought....an make me think I'm crazy when I know I'm not".
Off to the turntable....
Hope all are well.
(Cool cats, Mr Jim...they look happy)
Great to see all the kids getting along so well.
I'm sure Lizzie is smiling. 🙂
Rainy that is a fantastic song and the album is fantastic!!! I am breaking out the cd now!!! Thanks Girl!!!!
Hi Rainy 🙂

Snappy tune by Les..haven't heard in a while. Enjoy
:dog:  :inlove:
I was fortunate to view that live 'Kind of Bird' on the Tonite Show...Severenson and band were stunned and gave the band a standing "instrument tap" reserved for only the best of the best....but then, we already knew that.
Jam for Duane Sept 6/7. Coming together as we gather funding to put all the parts together. Donations are welcome. pm me if you can help.
jammin' for Duane.
two weeks out and I'm looking forward to Dickey's show at The Hamilton in D.C.
think I'll put on a bit of ol' Great Southern to celebrate that thought....
Wish someone on the website would add the show to the upcoming shows list.... I don't wanna be the only couple to get to enjoy the show.
Good post, Bird. And LUKE, haha Brother.
"Brother" and "Sister"...hmmm, got me to thinking. Terms that have not been used too much around here in a while. Oh, the feelings are there, but we (including moi) have not had the vibe so much around here. Hope it comes around again pretty soon.
Thinking about the regulars this Sunday AM; coffee gripped.
Good Morning to all, I see we are back to dodging the debris here, I mean DEBRIS, I guess more specifically FLOTSAM..... but that it is easy to skip over, thanks to the SHOUTING, so one can spot the floating remnants of a mind, the bad parts that are left....
but back to Dickey Betts, who I kinda can't picture sending PICTURES to anyone here. Lord, I was born a KODAK MAN...... but if fantasy solace is better than no solace, I guess go for it.
As for Dickey Betts, I stumbled across the Johnny Carson youtube last night of the boys doing Kind of Bird with Doc Severson and band. Dickey lets off one tasty little solo towards the end. He can go from gliding to soaring in one second.

Duane Allman, the lead guitarist and driving force behind Southern Rock pioneers The Allman Brothers Band, lived a tragically short life, but during his brief career he changed music forever. With contributions from an illustrious and highly knowledgeable cast of friends, insiders and experts, plus rare footage and exclusive interviews, this film looks at Duane's life, work and musical output.

this (notice no caps) means nothing to anything, but....
i have never texted, never will. i refuse to contribute to the dna / genetic evolutionary gene modification effort going on in our culture, where humans, from excessive texting, doom future generations to evolve with shorter and shorter, but stubby and strong thumbs, distinctly engineered for effiecent and fast whamming on tiny little effin buttons....
