Not only is the glass half empty, the water is clouded, tastes bad, I dropped it on my toe and hurt it, the darn glass broke, and there is a mess on the floor. But even a pessimist like me, on Dickey's response, says: Heck Yes!
its all good đ

Greetings to all from N.J., where the sauna season is well under way.
Below is the link for a decent fan video of a nice version of "Blue Sky" from Warren and Railroad Earth -- though it is cut off at the end (8/1/15). A friend of mine kills it on violin (Tim Carbone).
Haynes and RRE with be performing at the Peach Festival on Aug. 14 -- right before the Gregg band, which has been performing "Southbound", as an encore no less. All the members of the ABB are scheduled to be at Peach Fest that weekend (with the exception of Derek Trucks).
Given the above -- those two songs being covered -- and Gregg's recent conciliatory words toward Dickey (WSJ interview), anyone hoping for some collaboration or even full-scale reunion just might see it at the Peach Fest.
I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice ... .
Peace.

Quote from article....
Alan Paul - "Youâve added more Allman Brothers songs to the Gregg Allman Band set list, including âSouthboundââand when you play that you always make sure to announce that Dickey Betts wrote it. You guys had a very bitter public falling out in 2000. Why do you say that?"
Gregg Allman - "Because he should be credited for writing a very good song! Like they say, time heals. I havenât seen him in a very long time and would be very open to it. In fact, I would love to play with him again."

"Unfortunately, in early February of 2015 I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver," Kach posted today on Facebook. "Thankfully, I have ObamaCare and a couple of great doctors. I'm healing slowly but surely. The benefit concert is happening to help me out during these challenging times."
