Hey there! Hope that everyone is well? Life has been crazy and going so fast lately that it's getting hard to keep up! Had a scare a few weeks back with my wife Jenny and soon to be baby. We thought she was having a miscarriage but everything checked out ok. We find out in about a month if it will be a boy or girl. Starting to get excited!
Been thinking a lot about music lately too. Missing Brother Duane with his anniversary just passing. Seems like too many good folks have moved on in the month of October. In fact, just yesterday my wife's cousin Rachel lost her grandfather to cancer. A few months back I got together with her and we recorded a song that her grandfather wrote. Rachel sung it and did an incredible job. She has an amazing voice. Her grandfather and family were so touched by this. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to do that for them.
You may not even know it, but sometimes it's the small acts of kindness that make all the difference.
Good luck Cap'n on your hip surgery and hope Bird72 is on the mend. Sending thoughts and prayers and healing (((((vibes))))) to both of those brothers!

ChrisR it wasn't you as Bird72 stated. There is just one individual that has a tendency to stir things up. Unfortunately I can't monitor during working hours but the night crawlers hours I am here everyday. My 2 compadre's are doing a fantastic job. And like Bird72 the other day I had 78 password requests. We are doing the best we can and it seems to be working pretty good.

I wish to say one simple opinion relative to a question Ive debated within myself and that is when is a ban a lifetime ban? Its unfortunate to have to consider the concept, as most you take the hint as it were. The fact a person cannot go away indicates an agenda and a lack of self-respect. Both are all-consuming.
I dont admire the gig of being a moderator because its so time consuming. But I am appreciative of the new day. Thanks.

No ChrisR, it wasn't you. There is a pattern, and most know it. I will personally not sit back and watch a repeat scenario of a second deceased woman being used as a tool in apparently one persons personal vendetta. I was asked to do this MOD thing. If I do it wrong, I will be un-asked. Until then, I will not allow bad blood drama attacks.
The proof I hit a nerve is I got probably 100 new password e-mails after my MOD posts today, which I do not like making, but a person is inspiring it. Yes, and that person sadly sat at a keyboard today and sent 100 password requests, because I made them very angry suggesting they behave. Please leave speculation who it may be off this GB. All I know is I must delete attack posts. No matter from where, I know some are probably justified, but it has to stop.
The person who I believe the whole MOD thing exists because of, this person will continue to try everyones nerves, and the new tactic is push buttons much more softly in posts, and get the result like we see today. From now on the "soft button" posts will be deleted when a pattern from same person. This stuff will stop. Using deceased people in a game of anger is a true mental health issue and it just won't be happening here.
Geeze! The crap I stirred up just asking about Keegan 'cause I saw it was her birthday, hadn't hear from her in a while, and knew she was very ill.
Why is it that on this site someone like myself can express a genuine concern for someone, yet even when people say good things in reply, others take it as something dramatic and offensive?
It's as though people are actually LOOKING to start trouble.

Cant help thinking about Duane, as I do everyday. For 37 years, the 'Jam for Duane' honors the music and legacy of Duane Allman. Will keep going as long as possible. Anyone that loves this music should be supporting the JFD...if for no other reason than to enlighten the next generation about this great guitar player. Wail on Skydog!
also I did not know Keegan and she sounds wonderful. even not knowing her, I would venture she would want any post about her to be full of life and love and not a source of GB member disagreement or telling people what they should say about her. Only she has the right to do that and I take it she is no longer with us to be able to.
Also, people here evidently really knew her. If someone else is then is using real life to tell falsehoods to fuel some old animosity, do I need to say that is cause for banning?

If I warn it, it has happened recently. No Names so no PM's please. Also, on PM's..... any chaqracter attack PM's, I will recommend banning. No new ones, but I let some slide a while back. So please, no more. My job is "no attack posts".
So before we go deeper, no real world names in posts please, I will leave a post up I shouldn't, but it will help illustrate what I talk about. Any "Prine" posts will be deleted from now on, or any real world names. Don't have time to "edit" posts for anyone.
But the post I mention was not uninvited. It was a response post to one a while back, where I also let some stuff slide.

Hate is a strong word. The message is also telling people how to behave.
this is a PROVACATIVE POST, and the writer should know that if they don't.
