Until the person who posts peoples personal info WITH IMPUNITY - that means no fear of being punished - is not banned, this will never stop. That's not a threat, just a fact. I can't stand by and allow this to happen. If he is banned, I will voluntarily leave if that's what you want.
This guest book is for Dickey and related topics. Not some one's personnel vendetta against other people. Or to come here just to stir up trouble. The three of you have turned this place into a dump that no one wants to visit or be here. You are an embarrassment to this site.

To the one who has been banned so many times who comes here to crave attention, clowns like you are a dime a dozen which means you are pretty worthless and I think everyone here and the ones that knows you personally will agree. Nice thing to know is you will in life upset someone in person and possibly and hopefully we will never here from you again.
One other thing this is "NOT A DAMN NEWSPAPER" if I want to read politics I'll go somewhere else on the internet. If you feel you must post these things do it in the forum.

No matter what happens, for Heaven's sake, Capn had absolutely nothing to do with any of this. Capn is one of the nicest, most gentile, and good hearted people I've ever run across.
I've developed a zero tolerance policy for coming here only to see than one jack ass has posted my personal info on the site. Adam Spero said in unequivocal terms that this would not be tolerated and would result in the offenders being permanently banned.
For my part in this I will banish myself if the jackass who stoops trying to do harm by posting the personal info of others agrees to do the same thing, but as long as he is around things will never change as far as I am concerned. He has done this to me four times and I dare say if it happened to any of you, you would not like it any more than I do.
Just got off the phone with my cousin Veronica who lives in Cheynne, Wyoming
She said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is 32 below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. Wind chill is -59. Her husband Dave has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let the drunken bastard inside.
Hey there folks! :wave: Hope you are all well! Sad to see everyone go. Been coming here for a while now and remember back to when it was a fun place to talk music, share our love of Dickey and the band, and meet great people who felt as I do. Like all good things in life, it seems nothing lasts forever. The guestbook is a different animal these days and it seems the original "Brotherhood" vibe has gone away. Maybe it left when Reddog, Lizzie, Nic, and Neil passed...who knows.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to talk and even to meet many of the great folks here and alot of them have become my friends. If I take away anything from this site...it is that.

I'm sure she's forgotten by now, but in any case would like to publicly apologize to captcin for the nasty words I spit in her direction many months ago. There was lots of fighting going on, she said something I didn't appreciate whatever it was (who cares, bygones), I sent her a nasty PM in response having no idea she was female. It was inappropriate to say what I said to a female. I regret it.

I agree that if folks leave, evil wins. There is a simple way to avoid all this, and I've suggested it before....simply ignore the posts that are trying to get under your skin and provoke infighting. This is cyber world, not someone knocking on your front door. It's easy to detect, and even easier to ignore. If this were a fire, the solution is not to argue with the fire, but to take away its fuel. Do not feed it!
More than anything, take a look at the top of this page....this is put here for us, the fans, to stay informed, and to pay tribute and respect to one of the greatest musicians ever. It's embarrasing to me, as a fan, to see this silliness going on. The key word in "Guest Book" is "Guest". It's high time this place gets treated with some respect.
Just ignore those trying to provoke you and you will win.
