Bart's joining RSB with Mike Zito for the Rhythm & Blues Cruise 10/4-11 after which Zito departs RSB. I'm looking forward to hearing the new direction this project will take. Zito has an excellent cd with his band, The Wheel, called Gone To Texas.
A new Royal Southern Brotherhood video from their current tour but NO BART WALKER????

The new "re-re-re-re release" (MULEMAN1994's :-)) term of Live at Fillmore East is mighty fine! Lots of great stuff I had never heard. For instance, the original You Don't Love Me for the LAFE record was actually two performances from the 3 dates spliced together, but you get both those full length performances and I can't figure out why Tom Dowd decided to do that unless he just couldn't choose one over the other because they were both so great. Nevertheless, the whole set has been stunningly remastered and is full of differing versions of the classics we all know and love from original ABB.
A good time was had by all in Macon at the DDT Benefit! Lot of fun with a lot of good folks! And Dan, confined to a wheelchair, still played beautifully from start to finish. I primarily went for the opportunity to meet Nic Nicodemus, and the rest was value added.
Capn- DDT was an awesome and very under rated player when it came to ABB music. Dickey would sometimes get out there a little to far ( as do alot of players) - but DDT had a way of reeling Dickey back in. Always played clean and hit the note.
