Spirit still flows!!!
I wanted to thank Mr Betts for a bit of advice he shared about being a grandparent! I forget where I read but thanks! Just when you feel like you are getting down to the last chapters, a new episode begins!!! Love y'all! As Tim McGraw sings! "Stay humble and kind"
Well this is exciting!!!!
Looks like it has been about a year since Dickey management has commented on the home page...is there any recent news on Dickey...even if it is just that he is enjoying his retirement ...let's give his fans a little shout out please... EAPFP
Aaaaa-Eeeee May you have a blue sky day and let your soul shine. ((((Nic))))
Slip away, darling,I need ya darling!!! slip away, I used to play that song everyday!!!
I;m with you Lukester,
If you had a chance to ask Dickey one question , what would it be? Me I would ask "Who was the one person you most enjoyed and fun playing with?"
“playing some dickey shows from the old lone star cafe in NY” Oh yea. That 11/01/1988 show was my first B&P courtesy of Tom Seeks. I had seen the band at The Bayou in Georgetown a night or two before which was my introduction to Warren and Matt. Not long after The ABB was back with the new lineup and the next few years, past the original band, is my favorite. The memories still play today! Tom
Hope everyone had a nice weekend, was playing some dickey shows from the old lone star cafe in NY the weekend. Highway call is on deck. Enjoy the music and always the best to you Dickey Betts.
Muleman1994...Read your post. Would love to see Dickey out on the road with just him and his acoustic in an intimate setting .
Been listening to the odean show...for a little thousand seat hall Dickey blew the roof off! Side note saw Gov't Mule there too!!! both shows were stellar!
Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band.... Check them out they are amazing!!!!!!
I re-listened to the Dickey, Warren and Woody 04/14/1996 acoustic thing from the RnR HoF. Dickey with an acoustic guitar is something everyone should have the privilege of experiencing. My oh my. Peace & Get Behind The Mule, Tom
What's happening ! I been down here working in Florence,sc for three weeks now working for my company! In the motel room watching a good movie, having a few, all the pretty horses is movie!!!
